Where did June go?

Sat Jun 25, 2005, 8:58 PM
Time flies, but not fast enough when you're in pain. I've spent the past month dealing with health issues, including surgery to remove a small digestive organ. They tell me gallbladder surgery is minor. In my opinion, nothing that involves anesthesia and pointy sticks is minor. That's why I put it off so long. Oh, well. Bye-bye little bag o' stones!

Meanwhile, no art created. Wah! Bought more paint. Yeah! Finished one sketchbook, started another. Go me! Discovered mechanical pencils with the clicker under the thumb. Yummy! Hope to post something soon.

The usual owwiiiee over the surgery. Completely agree with you about being cut into. Not fun.

Glad you're getting back to art now. I never did get the hang of those type of pencils, but then I also have never used my thumb to make 'em go.

Thanks, Kosa! Hope you and the fam are doing well.

I had it done about ten years ago, yeah it was kinda scary. But I felt much better after I had it, and I really had no problems after it. I have three little scars on my stomach where they cut into me, but nothing like I thought I would have. Good Luck.

Thanks. Saw the doc for followup today, and he told me to slow down and behave myself for another week of two. Gonna be tough.
